Anne Frank's Diary

The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank - (The Definitive Edition)
Edited by Otto H. Frank and Mirjam Pressler Translated by Susan Massotty

"The single most compelling personal account of the Holocaust remains astonishing and excruciating"    - The New York Times.

A timeless story rediscovered by each new generation, The Diary of a Young Girl stands without peer. For both young readers and adults it continues to capture the remarkable spirit of Anne Frank. This diary is among the most enduring documents of the twentieth century.    Since its publication in 1947, it has been read by millions of people all over the world. It remains a cherished and greatly admired testament to the indestructible nature of the human spirit. The definitive edition, which includes a great deal of material not included in the original publication, deepens and broadens our sense of the remarkable young woman who composed it. This is the new edition of the diary for general readers approved by the Anne Frank-Fonds (the Foundation, Otto Frank's sole heir which inherited his daughter's copyrights).

Anne Frank's Tales from the Secret Annex

Tales from the Secret Annex is a complete collection of Anne Frank's lesser-known writings: short stories, fables, personal reminiscenses, and an unfinshed novel. Here, too, are portions of the diary originally witheld from publication by her father. By turns fantastical, rebellious, touching, funny and heartbreaking, these writings reveal the astonishing range of Anne's wisdom and imagination -as well as her indomitable love of life. Anne Frank's Tales from the Secret Annex is, among other things, a testament to the persistent strength of the creative spirit.
