The Short Life of Anne Frank
Directed and Produced by Gerrit Netten Narrated by Jeremy Irons and Nicky Marks Morris

In this film, Anne Frank's life story is told with quotations from the diary, unique photographs from the Frank family albums and historical film extracts. It also includes the only film footage of Anne Frank. The film is designed for an audience of both young people and adults and not only tells the story of Anne Frank, the diary and the secret annex, but also provides information on the Second World War and the persecution of the Jews, making it an excellent educational tool for teaching the Holocaust.

Anne Frank Remembered
Directed by Jon Blair

Jon Blair's 1995 Academy Award Winner for Best Documentary narrated by Kenneth Branagh and Glenn Close, Anne Frank Remembered, features vintage newsreels, photographs and even a rare home movie to look beyond the pages of Anne Frank's diary. It includes surprising, often emotional interviews with Anne's family, friends, and her heroic protector, Miep Gies. The Seattle Post-Intelligencer writes "Anne Frank Remembered is not so much a documentary as a rare piece of history that virtually comes alive, taking your breath away with its immediacy." Newsday: "Blair has created a sensitive, elegantly structured work that brings young Anne alive."
