Since 1985, the traveling exhibits of the Anne Frank Center-USA have introduced more than 4 million adults and young people, in communities large and small, to the story of Anne Frank. Our four exhibitions—Anne Frank: A History for Today, The Anne Frank Story, Anne Frank: A Private Photo Album, and Art and Propaganda in Nazi-Occupied Holland—are hosted by community centers, schools, arts organizations, libraries, museums and other venues throughout the United States. The exhibits allow viewers to confront issues of prejudice and intolerance and promote the positive values of diversity and tolerance in their own communities.
The AFC-USA provides an exhibit you can use as a centerpiece for a community-wide program that focuses on issues of tolerance and human rights. The Exhibit Planning Guide provided by the Center helps you to organize your event and to activate your community for fund raising, planning, promotion, and implementing a complete program that includes docent-led tours for students, teachers, and others, student workshops, a bookstore, meetings with Holocaust survivors, World War II veterans, or others with first-hand experience of human-rights abuses. The AFC-USA offers professional docent training and, for the larger exhibits, a professional exhibition installer.
For more information about the details and costs of hosting an Anne Frank exhibit in your community, please contact the Anne Frank Center-USA Exhibits Manager at 212.431.7993 extension 304 or email exhibits(at)annefrank.com.
