Since 1985, the traveling exhibits of the Anne Frank Center USA have introduced more than 5 million adults and young people, in communities large and small, to the story of Anne Frank.
Our four current exhibitions—Anne Frank: A History for Today, The Anne Frank Story, Anne Frank: A Private Photo Album, and Art and Propaganda in Nazi-Occupied Holland—are hosted by community centers, schools, colleges and universities, arts organizations, libraries, museums and other venues located across the United States and Canada.
The exhibits encourage viewers to confront issues of prejudice, intolerance, bullying and scapegoating and to promote the positive values of diversity and tolerance in their own communities.
An AFC exhibit may be used as a centerpiece for a community-wide program that focuses on issues of tolerance and social justice.
The Exhibit Planning Guide provided by the Center helps you organize the event and engage your community to fundraise, plan, and implement a complete program that includes docent-led tours for students, teachers, and others, student workshops, a bookstore, and meetings with Holocaust survivors, World War II veterans, or others with first-hand experience of human rights abuses.
The AFC USA offers professional docent training. For the larger exhibits, a Center representative is available to help with the on-site installation.
