SETH GLICKENHAUS has devoted his entire career
to all aspects of the investment business that
support the management of client portfolios. He
began his career as a stock and bond specialist
with Salomon Brothers. Prior to serving with
the U.S. Mountain Troops during World War
II, he founded the predecessor organization
to Glickenhaus & Co. He received a B.A. in
Economics, cum laude, from Harvard University,
an LL.B from New York University's School of
Law and was admitted to the Bar of the State of
New York. He is married to Sarah and the father
of two children and grandfather of four.
Although Seth is best known for his successful career in finance, he is
involved with numerous organizations and serves as a board member
of The Museum of Arts & Design, The Rockefeller University Council,
The Renaissance Project and the Center for Defense Information. A
noted philanthropist, some of the many causes he supports include:
medical research, help for the homeless, family and children’s services, educational institutions and the arts.
