Honoring Emmy and Peabody Award-winning filmmaker and author George Stevens, Jr., who worked on the 1959 Diary of Anne Frank as a production assistant to his father, George Stevens.


The Spirit Awards recognize bridge builders, peacemakers, and role models whose humanitarian efforts serve to engender understanding, equality, and mutual respect among diverse groups.
